Ok one more series: the long perspective

This first one is my favorite as it was of my eight year-old daughter at that time. The colors are saturated as I wanted to emphasize the joy of youth where the world is in front of you in time and imagination.

I don't generally like saturated colors, if anything, my preference are desaturated tones, but I totally get your concept and it's execution here is flawless. Cheers, Filip

Thanks! That 4th photo in east county: the colors are real.

The end of winter comes and the rye grass takes off which tends to be a hyper green color added with a mixture of frost which reflects it even more. Actually all the others are real too. However, I do not desaturate colors. I try to capture the light at t...

The 4th is my absolute favorite !

And I don't like un saturated photos in general ... unlike some lawyers here on the forum ;-)

I love saturated photos.

Makes me look/feel a better photographer. It's like people driving a car with an automatic gearbox or a turbo mounted on the engine. These people think they are good drivers but I know they aren't. Hence I drive a Atmospheric Clio with a manual gearbox ;-...

These pictures are simply amazing!

For pix 4, HWY50, what was your position when you took the pix? Looks elevated and not road level.

Yep. And thanks

All the road pictures, except for pix 5 were down elevations. Pix 5 is an up elevation. Iโ€™m always stand or squatting in the middle of the road. Most of these shots are on roads with very little traffic

Another great series!

Favorite is the first one but maybe not for the reasons you think. While I like the feeling of youth and freedom, what I love however is the fact that to an observer not familiar with the scene, it is not clear if she is running towards or away from you, ...

Thank you!

For me itโ€™s always a shot of good whiskey

I agree

The first photo is special. Might read well as silver print or straight Black and white if you are open to ideas.

Thanks!

Silver print yes. I believe B&W would lose the message for me.

Try dramatically toning down the

Saturation then. To the point of almost back and white.

I tried it.

It just loses that playfulness and the imagination of the youth. It becomes more dramatic IMO. Full B%W and her shirt is lost the the photo.

These are really good...
